Screen Recording FPS Problem

I did a screen recording (lasted over 30 minutes), and it plays back just fine. It is about 1.5 GB. However, when I import the movie into any Adobe program (Premiere CS6 or AE CS6), the fps suddenly drops to 4.00 fps. Interpreting the footage as 30fps results in a sped up clip. How can I fix this? I am currently attempting to convert the file with Compressor to a higher fps format. I think it might have something to do with bit rate?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

I have the exact same problem. The video plays fine after after capturing it through QuickTime. When I drop it into AE CS6, it reports the frame rate at 4 FPS.
