When opening emails, attachments in the email automatically opens in the viewer window. How do I stop it? I would like to only see the message, and the attachments as a list or icons, so that I have the option whether to open attachments or not.

The best you can do is turn off remote images in HTML only/ and this is not the same as what you are asking.

Thank you. I am using the Mac email. Isn't there a setting on the software to switch off automatic opening of the attachments when viewing emails? If not, there should be in future versions. It just seems to me to be a security vulnerability.
