iPhone 5 replacement query?

Well I purchased an iPhone from a premium reseller in India in November and there had been a defect with the power button. When it was pressed on the extreme right hand side it wouldn't work. Later I even noticed that the color of the phone was also fading out in some parts. Mine is a black and slate iPhone.

Will I be getting a replacement is my question?
