Q: Why can't I select iCloud in Settings on my iphone?

iCloud is not available (grey).

Navigate to Settings > General > Restrictions (enter your passcode if required-this may not be the same as your screen lock code), scroll down to the section 'Allow Changes' and ensure you are allowed to make changes to 'Accounts'.
