I had an email account on my iPhone for I now have iPhone 5 & want to keep the same email address but its not working

I need to know how to use my old email that I had with my iPhone 4 & use it on my iPhone 5

iOS 6.1

Did you try to add the account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account...?
