I have videos on my camera and want them on my mac & learn to edit, help

I took videos off my camera and put on dvd discs and they won't go on my mac.

I need help. I have videos on my video camera and want them on my mac and then I want to edit

them and need help.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), Macbookpro laptop I bought at Appl

Hi,


We would need to know how you go the Video from the camera to the DVD disks and in what Format the DVDs were recorded in.


If it made DVDs in the same format as commercial DVD films then the DVD player should open them


Quicktime will recognise many formats but not all .AVI and DIVX in particular.

Add-ons for Quicktime for some formats can be obtained.


Which app were you thinking of Editing in ?
