SIM card compatability between iphones 4, 4S & 5 ???

Just wondering if anybody has advice on whether there are any compatability issues when using one SIM card in these three different models of iphones?

I have a 4, have the opportunity to upgrade with a new handset, would like to stay with an iphone, wondering if I'll be able to use a new SIM in my new handset when not in work & pop the new SIM into my old handset to be used in work with less fear of damage

I'm not sure if people have experienced problems with file sharing between itunes & two different handsets ie. apps, file sharing, automatic security settings.

Also I am aware that upgrading to a 5 would mean buying a new protective case due to the different dimensions, & the issue of the different size connector on the charging/data cable. Wondering if there are any impartial opinions on whether the 5 offers enough more to warrant the hassle of changing so many accessories. I had heard that the 5 has shorter battery run-down time ???

Any advice would be appreciated

The SIM card in an iPhone 4 will not fit in an iPhone 5, because the 5 uses a different sized card. A 4's SIM card will fit in a 4S, however.

All iPhones work the same so you should have no iTunes problems.

iPhone 5 shouldn't have shorter battery life, it should have equal, or even more, battery life. There have been complaints from the minority though - these are just faulty phones.

If you did want an iPhone 5 though, most carriers can give you a new SIM card which would fit the 5 with the same phone number. That's a good option.
