My iPad (first Generation) is having trouble with my home wifi connection. Just switched to Comcast and have set up all other devices other iPad, iPhone's, iMac  and printers in my home with no problem connecting.  During set up it finds the network and except the password.  It has a full strength antenna, however The "choose a network " indicator never showed "joining " and continues to show the circling symbol indication it is working on joining. When this didn't work, I went over to a friends and joined their home Wi fi with success. My iPad has never given me a problem before this new router was installed with comcast.  Have already completed serval set to find this problem and none of the following worked.  Forget the network, Shut down the iPad, confirmed IP address, back up iPad on iTunes and no updates needed.  What am i missing? Please ….

Any ideas?
