I can't get the drivers to work on Windows 7

I installed windows 7 on my new 15 inch macbook pro, but i cannot get any of the drivers/windows support software to work (sound/network/etc). When I first installed, I tried to download the latest support software through bootcamp assist - this didn't work! So i just installed windows, and then set about trying to get the drivers afterwards. I first tried to use a friend's old install disk (my new one didn't come with one), it went through all the motions, and says that everything installed correctly, but none of it works!!!!!! I've searched the web endlessly for an update (or something) to try and rectify the situation but nothing seems to work! 😕 Please Help!!!!
