How do I remove my Apple id from my Ipod Touch which I've given to my husband?

I have an iPhone 4S so I've given my husband my iPod Touch. The problem is that he cannot receive calls on Facetime because the iPod has my e-mail address and phone number on it and I can't remove them. How do I change all the details without it affecting my iPhone?

Restore the ipod as new.

I reset all settings but my phone number and Apple id are still on the iPod. Anything else you can suggest?

Best is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and setting. The set up the iPod with her ID. If yo set up via iTunes make sure that her ID is signed into iTunes.
