If iTunes Match is enabled can I still sync certain songs from library manually if not in the cloud? Ie I have a load of dj mixes I have done which are not in iCloud but are in library and I want these on my phone and iPad? Using iTunes Match these files are greyed out an inaccessible

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 6.1, Also haveMacBook Pro and iPhone 4S

When iTunes Match is enabled on iOS devices traditional syncing via USB is disabled. However, those DJ mixes will most likely be uploaded, as long as they do not exceed certain criteria, so they will still be available on your iOS devices.

When i enable itunes match i can see that the mixes in question (which range from 150-250MB) have not been uploaded to icloud so im guessing they cant be accessed this way. Seems silly to me that you cant have itunes match and the ability to manually import other songs at same time??

You're not the only one to think that. You can submit your polite feedback to Apple via their iTunes feedback page :http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

In the meantime any file that is less than 200 MB should be uploaded to the cloud for you.

Thanks for your input Michael. The files are still showing as all waiting so definitely not uploaded!!! Ill go to Apple tech support for answers i think. Frustrating as im a DJ and have 100's of mix files that i seemingly cannot use with iTunes match!!!
