Google location permission

I am on an iPad 3.When I went into google Maps, I inadvertently checked 'No' or 'Cancel' when asked if Google could use my location. I am getting the message: "Google Maps does not have permission to use your location."

I have gone into setting/privacy/location ... all is set there. How do I allow permission?

Privacy... Location Services... Chrome ... is ON, and I quit the app and restarted the iPad, but Chrome still gives the error message: "Google Maps does not have permission to use your location." When using maps.google.com.

I want to see my current position on the map using iPad with this: http://bit.ly/49mile

. . . Tried that URL in both Safari and in Chrome. Not updating my location. Stuck in the middle of SF, at a specific point, no matter where I actually am located.

. . . Willing to press refresh, or even quit and restart the browser to get position updates, but no joy.
