Bluetooth frustrations.

I'm struggling to pair an Android phone with my iPhone to transfer a video. Anyone know what the problem might be? Pairing appears successful but when I try to connect to the device or receive a file from it, it fails. Can anyone help?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1

as much as i support you since i've used bluetooth transfers on my old "dumb" phones - it is more of a 10year old technology as far as file transfers is concerned. the reason being - its too slow. in the olden days (6+ years ago), high speed wifi /LTE and easy cloud storage/sharing services were not available, so bluetooth was a boon.

but today, its much faster to simple put the video in dropbox/skydrive, etc and email the link to your friends - no need of pairing, actual slow phone-phone transfers, etc.

just my 2 cents.
