Can TC work with modem/router?
I am new to apple. Just got TC. I have DSL modem/router. I have Ethernet in WAN port on TC and Ethernet port on DSL. However TC solid amber then flashes amber forever. Can the two work together?

Of course. First, you have to connect an Ethernet cable to the WAN port of the Time Capsule and your modem to make your Time Capsule work. Then, you have to set up the Time Capsule, so open AirPort Utility on the MacBook Pro and follow the steps. When the Time Capsule is set up, the light will change to green
