iBooks opens the book at the last page that was opened when the application was closed.

Is there is a setting that always starts the eBook with the Video Introduction without the user having to select the Introduction before closing the application.

Hmmm perhaps this should be an iBooks option.

My assumption is that last page open is/or can be an iCloud function if the book is installed on more than one Apple registered device. Which means that more than one person reading the book simultenously. How then does each person have the book open on the last page they read or is that a bit of iCloud magic.

What is really annoying is if you delete the book off an iPad and then sync it again it always remembers the last page open so deleting the book does reset the book to open at the Introduction. Cheers Ant..

I guess this would be true for unrelated persons but in our family we have 5 iDevices and one iCloud account.

I understand, but I don't think you will ever see Apple arranging things so that each device behaves differently. On the contrary, they go to great efforts to make sure the same account is in sync on all devices. So to get what you want you will have to have separate accounts.
