Ipod stuck on iOS 6 screen

Hey I'm not really familiar with the Apple products, but my Ipod is stuck on the iOS6 screen and it won't do anything but reboot or simply lock the screen... I was wondering if anyone could help me to get it working again!

Start with reseting your iPod Touch (no data or settings are lost - unless they are already lost)

  • Hold the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.
  • Hold both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.
  • Wait until the white Apple logo appears and release both buttons.

If that does not help, add a little history of how this problem occured.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
