Correction. Reflector only works with iPhone 4s and up. The same goes for AirServer.

The device needs support for mirroring which is only available for iPad 2, iPad Retina, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPod Touch 5, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. But from what I know, you can record your screen with UX Recorder on iPhone 4 (but only in web browsers).

I got to record my iPhone 4 screen by going to the Settings and then "General" and then "Date and Time" and then set date to some day before July 16 2013. Then go to http://emu4ios.weebly.com.

Then, scroll down until you find the app RecordMyScreen. Press install (it's safe) and then confirm your installation.

This app is virus free and is actually made by a trusted iPhone developer. I hope this helped and enjoy.

You can use QuickTime player to record iPhone screen, free and easy, no need jailbreak.

1. Plug in iPhone to computer, launch QuickTime and select menu File->New Movie Recording.

2. On the right of the red circle record button on the video preview screen is a reversed ^ icon. Click on it for a drop down menu allowing you to choose the iPhone as video source. That's all.

To get better quality video like 4K or HD video, I'd recommend Acethinker iPhone Screen Recorder. And here is a youtube guide about it.
