Looking for a solution to stream my Pandora on the desktop to my Apple TV's?

I saw this, however I don't have an option for apple TV in the drop down. Just internal speakers.
That usually means that the Mac can't detect the Apple TV. Perhaps these troubleshooting steps will help:

Checked all of the recommended items. Still not seeing the airplay icon, nor the apple tv icon. This mac was purchased mid 2010 and it has the latest software. IDK?

If you don't even see the Apple TV as a device in iTunes, then there's something wrong with the basic connectivity. I'd suggest you take this up in the Apple TV forum. You'll find more people expert in the Apple TV there.
