Just got a ipod 5

I been using my iPod 4 for two years. Just yesterday I finally got the iPod 5. So I plug it into my computer and it was working fine until something happen to the port and I couldn't get it to work. After finally have a port did that woek I had to go into recovery mode. But after 2 hours its been stuck on the white USB cord and iTune picture. I got my upate before getting the new iPod 5. My iPod 4 works fine on my iTunes but NOT my iPod 5. I am trying to let it drian but it keeps shutting off by itself. HELP!!!!

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
