move rental movies between mac and ipad
best way to accomplish? i am going ona trip and hopingto download rentals to my mac and then transfer to ipad on teh plane if needed. thoughts?

Note that in most cases a network connection is not needed once the movie has been completely downloaded, but in some cases people have tried to play a rental and had a message pop up that the device needed to contact the iTunes Store. I've never been able to determine any reason why it works for some and not others. Just a "heads up"; I'm tending to warn people that purchasing a movie may be a better option if you really want to be able to view a movie on a flight.
