Q: iPhone 4S updated to IOS 6.1, Notes are gone

After I updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6.1 my Notes are gone. Does anyone know if this means I lost them for good? I thought I had 5GB of iCloud which I know was saved previously as I used that when I lost and replaced my iPhone. But where are my Notes now??

Are you using yahoo? I looked in both my email accounts and do not see a notes folder.

OMG! I found them!! They were in my Notes folder in Yahoo!! Any idea how often they are save there?
