Time Machine not recognizing my computer for backup due to new motherboard

I've backed up my computer using my Time Machine for the last year. But recently my computer's motherboard was replaced and the below trick question is presented upon my backup attempts. Can anyone tell me if I should Create New Backup or Inherit Backup History? Indeed I'm using the same computer so not sure whether to which button to push.

Change the motherboard, and it's no longer the same computer. That's why Time Machine wants to do a new backup. This is normal behavior no different than if you actually bought a new computer.

Before you proceed consider if you may need to erase the backup drive first to enable adequate space. Otherwise, you will have your new backups and the old ones.
