"BLuetooth"unavailable" icon is diplayed, but no BT at all.

It was working just fine yesterday with the trackpad, but in System Preferences it says no PAN Devices found. I did a full shutdown on my Mac Pro, and restart with all USB devices disconnected but did not solve the problem. Does the little Bluetooth thing ever just die?

Pleasant surprise; I Closed all apps, disconnected all USB devices except the Keyboard/mouse, and shut down the computer last night. This morning when I turned it on, BT was working normally. Note I did this before, but my shut down (not restart) was only a couple of minutes in duration. I guess the good BT fairy came along last night and waved her magic wand over my Mac Pro.
