Q: Appleworks 6 Preferences

Selecting the General tab from Appleworks6 Preference opens a corrupted, unusable, screen. All the info is compressed at the bottom of the window. The window cannot be resized, merely closed. Any suggestions?

In Finder go to Users > 'Home' (your account name) > Library > Preferences > AppleWorks

Drag AppleWorks 6 Preferences to your Desktop. Restart AW. If solved you can bin the removed file.

Presumably you keep the AW Recent files slimmed down?

This procedure worked and the preferences now work properly. Thanks.

Now I'm looking for a way to eliminate the AW Recent files.
