If you purchased Pages for Mac on the App Store, you can install it for free on all your Macs, but iPhones, iPads and iPhones use a different Pages version, so you have to purchase Pages for the iPad. That's because your Mac uses OS X and your iPad uses iOS, so OS X apps can't run on iOS
