JDK 6 install

I need the original JDK 6 installation dmg for Mac to apply the new JDK 6 update 12 but it is not appearing in Software Updates or App Store - where can it be located?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), Java 6 full install

Try typing "java -version" from the command line and it should kick off the Java installer. There was not separate media for it.

Try the Oracle site or use a search engine to find multiple other download sites:
