I want to delete these two icons from my menu bar. They are the Bradford Persistant Agent / Symantec. I've previously deleted everything on my mac that I could find in hopes of them going away but alas, they won't move. I've tried the whole holding down the command button and then trying to drag it off. Doesn't work. Halp?

What menu bar are you talking about? The one in Finder? or The bar at the top? One thing is try into the preferences of the application and see if there is an option to not show it in the menu bar.
The link in the thread I posted doesn't work but I found these instructions
Uninstall Bradford from Mac OS X
Click on your desktop (Finder).
Click on the Go menu and down to Go to Folder…
Type: /Library and click Go.
Double click on the Application Support folder.
Double click on the Bradford Networks folder.
Double click on the Persistent Agent folder.
Double click on the Uninstall icon.
Your system should ask for your system username and password to complete the uninstall process.
Follow the prompts to remove Bradford.
Ok, this was perfect and got rid of the Bradford thing. It turns out the second icon is a Norton Antivirus thing. I tried folowing the Bradford directions for the Nortion thing but it says I dont' have access to the uninstall thing.
