Q: i don't have a status bar and my ipod touch won't rotate

my ipod touch screen won't rotate. all instruction talk about a lock on the status bar, but i don't have one of those. please help!

what kind of ipod do you have?
on some if you press the home button twice simultaneuosly you get the recent opened apps toolbar. now slide to the right and click the rotating thing so it says orientation unlocked

What model iPod do you have? Only the 3G and 4G hoas a screen-rotation lock.

Not all apps rotate. Safari is one app that does rotate.
