I upgrade from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5 but have been using my 4 as an iPod. I went to sync my 4 with iTunes and completely forgot my password and am now locked out. What do I need to do to get back in so I can sync it?

Connect it to the computer with which you initially sync'd with iTunes, and restore. If you respond with, "Oh dang, that computer don't work no more" - or something similar - we infer that uou have a stolen handset. Now what?
Nevermind - I think I just have to "Restore" through iTunes
Ha! I was waiting for a response like that (stolen)... It isn't - I just left it in the car for the last few months since the 5 came out and it's basically an ipod now and am now just syncing it again to update IOS and I have no idea what pw I used... so I need to restore... and as soon as I posted the question - the answer came to me anyway.
