How To Re-Program Power Button on 23" Cinema Display?

The Button currently doesn't control Off / On; It does prompt the "Shutdown / Sleep / Restart" message.

How can I change this back to standard On / Off operation? The dropdown under "displays" in preferences

doesn't offer any option / selection to re-program this function.

I am using OS 10.6.8.
