I bought a Apple Magic Mouse from a retailer yesterday. I was wondering if the product requires a product registration for warranty?
Short answer, no.
Apple does not maintain a database of peripherals.
Keep your receipt. The warranty is one year.
How do we go about receiving warranty coverage for these products, as you can't add them to the system?
Take the failed device in with your original receipt (either for the mouse or the computer that included it in the purchase).
For future reference, do not piggyback on an old thread. Start a new one of your own. Very few people will read an old thread.
