Is there anyway to expand the harddrive internaly with an additional 1TB enhancing the total storage upto(1TB inbuilt +1TB) 2TB?

I can't help you with "available in India" but most major RAM vendors will ship pretty much anywhere. You might have to pay additional shipping.

You can certainly add a second internal drive to your new Mini. Note that if you have an Apple-installed Fusion Drive then you already have two drives in your Mini; the Fusion Drive is a HDD and an SSD that is treated as a single volume.

Start with this vendor. It sells both RAM upgrades and kits for installing second internal drives for Minis:

If you just need more storage, don't neglect the much easier and potentially less expensive option of an external hard drive.

Hi John

Thanks for reverting back and your suggestion was much helpful. But it seems macsales ships products only in US.

Could you please check this Ram out here in India and tell me if it would be compatible with my mac mini 2012

I bought "Komputerbay 16GB (2x 8GB) PC3-10600 10666 1333MHz SODIMM 204-Pin Laptop Memory 9-9-9-24" off of Amazon for my mid-2011 Mac Mini Server & the ram works just fine was about $67 USD

For a second hard drive you will need a kit OWC Data Doubler SSD/2.5" Hard Drive Installation Kit.

Adding the second drive will require pretty much completely tearing apart your Mac Mini to pretty much the shell.
