I bought an ipad here in UAE and i will be sending it to my home country...is it possible that they change the format and add facetime so my daughte can use it?

I purchased an IPAD with retina display here in UAE, not knowing that it is not facetime enabled...is it possible to activate facetime once i send it to our home country so my daughter can use it?

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1

@Katie_G Those shops are selling gray marked products that were not intended

for the Middle East. Most have been hacked to operate in other

than original market and have no local warranty other than what is provided

by retailer.


iPhones and iPads sold through approved retailers in the UAE, KSA and some

other Middle Eastern countries have FaceTime blocked per government

restrictions, and FaceTime cannot be installed even when taken out of the

restricted countries.
