I have a Macbook 13" Mid 2010. Earlier I was using Snow leopard and later I have upgraded it to Mountain Lion. After the upgradation, my Macbook has become very slow and sometimes totally unresponsive.
Please assist.

How much ram does your MacBook have?
I have 2GB DDR3 RAM.
Although the specs for Mountain Lion say it will run on 2 GB of ram, you really need 4 GB to run well. You can look at Launchpad > Utilities > Activity Monitor to see the memory usage with software open. If there are a lot of page swaps, in and out, you need more memory.
Good sources are OWC and Crucial for guaranteed compatible memory.
