Do i need an Anti virus for i pad 2 ?

Can anybody confirm if i need an anti-virus for my i pad, i spoke to the shop where i bought it and they tried to sell "BullGard", What to do please help ??

There is no Anti-Virus for iOS devices since there is no way to attack the operating system. An Anti-Virus program is a waste of time and money.

You don't need antivirus as long as you don't Jailbreak your iPad.
