Can I have my black iPhone replaced with a white one?

Here's the deal. Me and my iPhone had a long and abusive relationship, but I wanted a white one but the guy only had black at the sprint store, so I was wondering that if my iPhone is covered with AppleCare when I get another one can I ask for a white one instead of black as a replacement or will that be a problem.
