How can I stop SMS messages going to my iPad?
After the latest IOS update (6.1), SMS messages are going to my iPad as well as my phone. How can I make this stop?
Thanks,
Lloyd

The problem is that the ID being used to send the messages is registered as a "can be reached at" address on both devices.
Got to Settings > Messages > Send and Receive and change the "You can be reached by iMessage at" addresses appropriately.

It's actually Settings > Messages > iMessage Off, but thanks for getting me to the right area.
If you do that you won't get any iMessages at all. But, perhaps you don't want any on the iPad.
That's sort of the "nuclear" solution! 😉
Yes, that's what I wanted. I get them on the phone, but I don't want them at all on the iPad. I tested the fix and it works as intended. Thanks for the input.
