Q: I enabled "Find My iPhone" on my girlfriend's phone in the Philippines when it was stolen. She was able to recover the phone, but as soon as she connected it, all the information was erased. How can she restore the phone so that it will work again?

I enabled "Find My iPhone" on my fiancee's iPhone 4 when it was stolen in the Philippines. She recovered the phone, but I could not stop the requested action to erase the iPhone. Her iPhone has been erased. How does she restore her iPhone so that it will work again?
