my macbook air screen suddenly goes black. does this happen to anyone else?
macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.6), Canon MX310 to timecapsule
This just started happening to me, too. No reason for it coming back on either. One time I closed and reopened it, other time I unplugged and plugged it back in. I think it's only happened when I'm using it while charging.
I took that Air back to the store.....they finally gave me a brand new one, it did the same thing plus some more issues on top, worse than the first. The Genius took everything off it, changed out the operating system then reloaded the data from my hard drive, minus the settings and music. Didn't help..... so literally, 2 Airs with the same issues!
I gave up and purchased the 13" Pro with the Retina Display, what I am writing on now. I didn't put any of my data back on. I am starting from scratch.
Good luck to you. Hooray for Apple for sticking it out with me. I am so glad I had Applecare.
