All the settings are apparently ok, but after a few days, the emails are removed. They remain on the server, so i can access them on the PC, but they're not on my iPad. It's a hotmail account if that helps?

What is Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Mail > Show set to?
I tried this very early on, it's set to 1000, but I don't see them...
What email service?

For anyone withy the same problem:
Settings>Mail>Accounts(select account)>Mail Days to Sync>No limit
