Itunes error -50 cannot fix

I couldnt download an app from my ipod touch so i decided to download and sync with my pc. However when i go to download the same app i get error -50 and it wont download. I have done all the steps listed in support and even turned off my firewall completely for the one app but nothing works. Its a free app.
