Connecting iPod Touch 5th gen to hyundai elantra via usb/aux

I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra, and I am wanting to connect the iPod Touch 5th generation via the usb/aux adapter. I purchased a 30 pin adaptor to connect to the iPod cord that came with my car (the cord is for the older iPods) and it doesn't work; it only shows me the auxilliary screen and will not show the iPod on the screen or play it. Does anyone know how to fix this??

Hello,

I am currently an owner of an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I see you are having problems with your Ipod Touch, so I will try to find a solution to your problem.🙂

  • Do a hard reset on the Ipod: Hold down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds or until Apple logo appears
  • Try contacting Hyundai as it may be the factory`s fault (factory defect)

Hope that helps!

If none of the above solutions work, can you please respond back ASAP as I will try to find another solution to your problem (This might even help others with the same problem!)

Cheers!
