I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra, and I am wanting to connect the iPod Touch 5th generation via the usb/aux adapter. I purchased a 30 pin adaptor to connect to the iPod cord that came with my car (the cord is for the older iPods) and it doesn't work; it only shows me the auxilliary screen and will not show the iPod on the screen or play it. Does anyone know how to fix this??

Have yo contaced Hyundai/went to their support site? is the car system compatible with iOS 6.1? Sometimes a iOS update breaks compatibility. Is there an update available for your car system?

I tried doing the hard reset but that didn't work. It isn't a factory problem because my iPhone 4 will work fine with the same iPod cord. There aren't any updates available for my car. I will try contacting Hyundai. Let me know if you have any further suggestions. Thanks!
