make desktop folders smaller in 10.8
Is there any way to make desktop folders smaller in 10.8? There used to be an option in the older OS's. I don't want to change my screen resolution.
Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 3.2GHz Quad Core 2012

Right click on your desktop > show view options > choose the size you want with the slider
I tried all of the above for the past few hours and then found Universal Access in the System Preferences.
It's right there under the zoom options. Now I can see my dock and upper menu without scolling.
Click on the Desktop, then go to Finder's View menu and choose Show View Options. There's an icon slider there.
