My new computer doesn't recognize my iPod in iTunes. How do I add a new device or rename my current iPod_Touch?

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears.
Thank you very much ~ I had another issue of purchasing a song on iTunes that wouldn't go into my iPod, turns out I was using a wrong port. SO, if that should happen to you, check your port.
