Help, I forgot my iPad(3rd gen) password and always get error 21 when trying to restore! (It is jailbroken) but please help

PLease I forgot my passwrod and can't seem to restore it, tried everything and even the hosts thing in the terminal

Are you trying to restore it in order to unjailbreak?

Jailbreaking voids your warranty, and this forum will not assist you with jailbroken devices otherwise.

Sorry if it's jailbroken 😟 I just want to get my password back or restore it and leave it without jailbreaking it! I really need my ipad for my science fair this week

You may have success undoing the jailbreak damage by following these steps: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808. Do not jailbreak again or the problem(s) will return.
