Someone stole my ipod today in class and i want to know if you guys can track it or how can i do it

yea i have the app but when i try locating it nothing came up should i give the sirel number off my repice

You most likely can not locate it because either the battery power ran out or whoever stole it turned it off.
Do not post the serial number here in the forums. We are just other Mac users here in the community and not Apple employees.
