why the the macbook pro bluetooth signal is so weak?

I have a macbook pro (core2duo) 13 ''.

My peripherals:

magic mouse

apple wireless keyboard.

both doesn't work well. the problem is clearly the weak bluetooth, since I get a better reponse while I get the device very close to the macbookpro. If I get 20cm away it starts to have problems.

does anybody has a sugestion for a bluetooth dongle that works on Lion or another solution?
