In addition, I failed to say, I do not use Gmail Calendar, when I tried to eliminate one of the calendars I got the folowing message:

In addition I keep getting notices sent to me by others of a reoccuring appointment that has long passed. There is no delete button. It only shows up on my iphone in ical, not on ipad, imac or macbook.
