I have a Mac mini and a 24" Cinema Display I am trying to connect to the thunderbolt port. Some other threads said it was possible, I am having no luck with this, I am not able to get anything from the display. Will the display work through the thunderbolt? Thank you for any help!

It should work. Is the Mini DisplayPort plug in all the way (no metal showing)? Is the USB cable plugged into the computer?

I disconnected everything and reconnected into a different usb port and it powered up, so I am in business! Thank you!
