Please, how do I print "Contacts" - in a list, in alphabetical order??? Thank you.

Hi.
In Contacts:
1. Click Contacts
2. Click Preferences
3. Show First Name: Before Last Name
4. Sort By: First Name
Now, choose the list you want to print and check if it's the way you want.

I tried this. It does not work. Print sequence is still totally random.
My operating system is Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.2

According to Apple, that rather basic function is not possible, though you may be able to do it with iCloud:
Thank you kindly for that. I have been browsing the forums and iCloud does appear to be the "workaround". Although quite why one needs a "workaround" on something that is so very basic, I am at a loss to understand.
I also sent feedback to Apple about this deficiency.
